(2) Black Lacquer Armchairs

Set of two black lacquer armchairs.  A classic, sophisticated armchair shape that suits any space. Art Deco shape in the style of a Richard Meier #810A, or a Marcel Kammerer 1762 1/2 d, however, they are not attributed.  Reupholstery done by us in an ostrich-embossed lambskin. It gives a subtle texture and pattern that reads as a faint polka dot print.  

ORIGIN: Wood framing of the seat shows that this piece was made well before the 1980's, however, there is no other identifying information to confirm location or date. The very modernist shape of the piece makes us think more mid-century than true art deco. 

In excellent vintage condition. Minor signs of wear to the lacquered frame, consistent with age. Upholstery is brand new, done by us.
