Early Edition CH29 Sawbuck Chair

Early Sawbuck chair by Hans Wegner. Hans J. Wegner designed the CH29, or "The Sawbuck Chair" for Carl Hansen & Son in 1952. It was taken out of production in the 1970's, and wasn't re-released until 20 years later.

Original frame and leather, there is lot's of beautiful wear to the piece that shows its history and character. 

No damage to the structure or the frame aside from patina and scratching. Brown leather shows many signs of wear, but it shows a lot of character. No tears to the leather that would impact use.

Manufacturer's stamp under the seat suggests this is one of the first editions.
