HOW IT WORKS

  • Send us a consignment request to info@incorsostudio.com. This will include as many clear images as you can achieve of your item. Please be sure to include any labels or markings on the underside of the piece, if any. Please include any purchasing information (origin, history, date) that you may know about your item. If you don’t have this information, no need to worry.

  • Once we receive your inquiry, our team will assess your item(s). Item selection will vary depending on the current inventory we have. While we are always looking for a selection of items at a variety of price points, items that are in excellent resale condition and in line with current market trends are prioritized.

  • We will get back to you with a response within 48h to let you know if we will proceed with consigning your item(s). Your items are then priced by our team. Pricing is based on the current market resale value, trends, saleability and condition. Please note that the final selling price may be reduced at In Corso Inc.'s discretion for promotional events and for our Trade Program discounts. This amount will never exceed a 15% discount from the previously discussed sale price

  • If you are unable to photograph your item, we offer a unique service to both authenticate and photograph your piece in your home prior to listing. This is a flat rate, regardless of the number of items you wish to list. The flat rate is $50 + HST within the GTA. (See information on our consignment map).

  • Once we have photographed your item, it will be listed within 48 hours. 

CONSIGNMENT FAQ

  • Once a sale on your listed item(s) has been made, you will be paid out VIA Direct Deposit. This will be completed within 2 weeks, or 14 business days from the date of the sale. We will reach out to you within this processing period VIA your provided contact details, to provide a receipt on the sale.

  • We may offer a buyout option for certain items, at 50% of our desired sales price. Direct buyouts are final sale, once the transaction is complete. If eligible, we will offer this option to you upon receiving your consignment inquiry.

    Should wish to sell an item that is not in great condition (e.g.: needing re-upholstery or other services), please reach out to sell@incorsostudio.com as we may be able to offer a buyout for you.

  • Should you wish to de-list your item(s) that are currently listed online, please email info@incorsostudio.com. Please note that your request may take up to 48 hours to process, and your item(s) may sell during this time. If they sell during this period, we will honour the sale.

  • Our mission is to find your beloved items a new home. Some things that we do to support the sale of your item:

    - We are constantly re-merchandising our website, rotating featured items. We will periodically include items in a variety of curated lists, that will also be emailed to our mailing list to re-inspire our clientele.

    - Our social media team shares ads on our items on both Instagram and Facebook to gain new clientele. Our social media posts aim to redirect clients to our website through educational posts or product-related posts. We often share listed items via feed posts, as well as stories. 

    - Every item consigned will be featured on the e-commerce website under its applicable category. 

    - We offer our photography service to be done in your home to ensure that your items are pictured cohesively on our site and exude the exemplar branding that our team has spent countless hours perfecting. 

    - In Corso often collaborates with stylists, interior designers and influencers. We may reach out to you as a seller to ask for your permission to use your item(s) in a photoshoot or for a rental agreement to drive the sale of your item(s).

STORAGE

  • We offer a storage solution for your items while they are listed. Our costs are based on the square footage of your item. Please include in your inquiry for consignment, that you would like to store your item(s) with us. We will include a rate. We will send out an invoice with a payment link once a month. Should 2 or more payments be missed (2 months or longer without a payment) we will repossess the items as our own.

  • Our storage facility is fully insured. Should anything happen to your item while it is listed, our insurance will be liable for the cost of which we agreed the listing value of the item is. Our facility is a fully secure, heated, indoor facility with 24-hour surveillance. Only members of our team have access to this facility, meaning you can sleep well knowing your items are in great hands.

  • If you wish to have an eligible item returned before the end of the 1-year contract, please contact info@incorsostudio.com to arrange an available date for pick up. Note that early returns can take up to 30 days to process, depending on the date of request. Please also note that your item may sell during the 30-day processing time. Shipping cost back to the seller, within the GTA parameters, will be charged to the seller at a fee determined by the size and weight of the item(s). We will schedule a delivery date with you within our 30-day processing timeline.
